Pre-Occupational Therapy Assistant

Program Description

The Pre-Occupational Therapy Assistant pathway, in partnership with Linn Benton Community College, supports students to transfer to Linn-Benton and obtain an Associates of Applied Science (AAS). This degree prepares students for entry-level positions as occupational therapy assistants. This two-year program combines classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experience to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices. Graduates of the OTA program are prepared to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, schools, and nursing homes. They may assist occupational therapists in developing treatment plans, implementing therapeutic activities, and documenting patient progress.

You can find more information regarding this partnership and how to apply on LBCC's website!
